How should I clean my rug?
Spot Cleaning:
Stains can be blotted out of the wool by adding warm water directly to the stain and blotting all liquid out of the wool with a towel.
Professional Cleaning: Your rug will last for years to come, so there may come a time when it needs a full cleaning! Find a professional who is experienced with cleaning 100% wool rugs. Your rug will come out looking brand new!

SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION

Locally Sourced Materials: The wool used for each piece is sourced from locally in Mexico.

Water Safe Production: Our wool is cleaned and processed with the plant Raiz de Amole. This root acts as a non-toxic, all-natural soap that avoids polluting the surrounding rivers and soil. The wool is then simmered in an Alum Stone bath to prepare for dying.

dyes from nature

Each batch of yarn is hand dyed with local naturally derived materials, including Indigo, Cáscara de Granada, Flor de Cempasúchil, Cochineal, and Palo de Águila.
